‘Ice Age’ is an eerily simple song performed on instruments powered by clothespegs and 5.25” floppy disks that sounds like How To Destroy Angels are performing a summoning ritual for climate change. The longer it goes on the more that patient electronic whine in the background builds up until it becomes a distortion that threatens to eat everything. It’s the kind of touch that reminds you Trent Reznor is in this band. Still, crazy Nine Inch Nails fans are screaming “Yoko!” in the YouTube comments anyway.
