Something for the weekend, 08/12
This week’s Weekend Listening includes new hotness from M.I.A., Eels, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Django Django, Skream ft. Kelis, and The Killers. Which is a bit of a surprise, because I’m not normally into The Killers, but this song has me reconsidering.
Who knew The Killers were this funny? They’ve released a Christmas song in the genre of 1980s-action-movie-closing-credits rock that is all about the dangers of being on the naughty list, accompanied by a video that has Santa as a motorbike badass hunting for them. Hi-larious.
