Well, shit, we survived the deadzone and now everybody has a new song and we better listen to them all. Collected over at FL you’ll find David Bowie, Charli XCX, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Bloods, Tom Waits & Keith Richards, and also this song from Anamanaguchi.
The real soundtracks to classic video games don’t actually sound this good. Instead, this is what you thought they sounded like when you were eight. Pet theory: Anamanaguchi aren’t the band of New York nerds with Nintendos hooked up to GarageBand they appear to be, but are actually a collective made up of brains in jars, channelling their memories of Zelda and Alex Kidd into pure musical thought.
